TMR & Hall Effect Technology
What are TMR joysticks?
TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) joysticks are advanced magnetic sensors that use non-contact technology to provide ultra-precise movement and long-lasting durability. They are designed to minimize stick drift and improve controller lifespan.
What are Hall Effect joysticks?
Hall Effect joysticks use magnetic sensors instead of traditional mechanical contact points. This reduces wear and tear and helps prevent common stick drift problems found in standard controllers.
What is the difference between TMR and Hall Effect?
TMR sensors are generally:

Faster responding
More resistant to temperature changes
Hall Effect sensors are still a major improvement over traditional potentiometer joysticks and offer excellent durability.
Will TMR or Hall Effect joysticks completely eliminate stick drift?

TMR & Hall Effect Joystick Upgrades - $40
Upgrade your controller with advanced magnetic joystick technology designed for smoother gameplay, greater accuracy, and significantly reduced stick drift.
Button & Trigger Repairs - $20
Fix sticking, broken, or unresponsive buttons and triggers.
Charging Port Repairs - TBD
*Requires Diagnostics*
Restore charging functionality for controllers with damaged or loose charging ports.
Thumbstick Replacement - $10
Replace worn thumbsticks or damaged analog modules. Replaced with Aluminum Galvanized Caps
Connectivity & Sync Repairs - TBD

Resolve Bluetooth, pairing, or wireless connectivity issues.
Full Diagnostic Service - $20

Forge Controllers proudly offers a Lifetime Warranty on eligible joystick upgrade services.
Our warranty covers:
- Stick drift on upgraded joystick modules
- Workmanship related to joystick installation
- Installation defects from our repair services
This warranty is designed to give gamers long-term confidence and peace of mind when upgrading their controllers with Forge Controllers.
Please note:
Physical damage, liquid damage, tampering, accidental damage, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

How Our Mail-In Process Works
Step 1 – Submit a Repair Request

Step 2 – Ship Your Controller
Securely package your controller and ship it to our repair center.
Step 3 – Diagnosis & Repair
Our technicians will inspect, repair, and fully test your controller.
Step 4 – Return Shipping
Your repaired controller will be shipped back ready to game.
Most repairs are completed within 1–5 business days after arrival.
